At Sheepworld, we believe in hands on learning combined with a fun, memorable experience. Our farm park offers a unique opportunity for students to connect with New Zealand’s iconic farming heritage while enjoying activities with our animals. 

What We Offer

• Interactive Shearing Show: See sheep shearing up close, with professional demonstrations and a chance to learn about wool production, animal care, and life on a New Zealand sheep farm.
  
• Meet the Animals: Get up close and personal with a variety of farm animals, from sheep and alpacas to goats, pigs and bunnies. Our friendly staff can guide the students, sharing fun facts and allowing for hands-on interactions.
  
• Farm Feedout Tour: Join us for a guided tour where students can help feed the animals while learning about their daily care, diets, and behaviour. This engaging experience allows kids to see sustainable farming in action.
  
• Educational Workshops: Tailored to your students’ age group and curriculum, we offer hands on workshops including butter making where kids can learn how to make their own butter from cream, and enjoy their creation on crackers.
• Picnic Areas & Outdoor Games: After the farm park experience, enjoy our outdoor space with designated picnic areas, a trampoline and playground which is great for students to hang out and play in a safe environment.

• Group Sizes: We can accommodate up to 100 students at a time. If you have more than 100, please get in touch and we can accomodate your group across several days. 
• Age Groups: Our experiences are tailored for all ages, from early childhood education to secondary school groups.
• School Rates: Special discounted rates for school groups, with one free teacher entry per 10 students.
• Facilities: Onsite café, playground, undercover ShowBarn, clean restrooms, and wheelchair-accessible pathways throughout the farm.
